error 81

We are running Netbackup 5.0 on Solaris 8.

The last two nights we have been getting lots of jobs failing for error code 81. It seems to be happening around 2:00 am to 3:00 am. We have not found a solution and also have Veritas tech support working on it.

This error is due to your vmd daemon not being up.

Could you please explain how your environment is setup?
