Hi!
I got a problem, big problem.
When I run my app from withing the editor it runs smooth but when I compile and I create the setup package and I install my app in other PC I get the error.
I thought I forgot to add some ocx or dll so I went to the PC that gave the error, installed VB editor and opened my program VBP to see that Activex I was missing and surprise, no error in the editor.
I made myapp.exe in that PC and the app runs smooth without errors.
How can I fix this problem???
Tnx!

Which installer are you using? PDW doesn't seem to pick everything up automatically. Check out MS Installer (free download from MS) or INNO

Do a search in thsi forum for "PDW" and "INNO" and you will get lots of information about this.

INNO is a free setup compiler that works MUCH better than the Package and Deployment Wizard (PDW) that comes with Visual Studio. Check it out, and I think it will solve this problem for you.

I used to rock and roll every night and party every day. Then it was every other day. Now I'm lucky if I can find 30 minutes a week in which to get funky. - Homer Simpson

Was not the packager, seems I got two different versions of a DLL and the app what looking for second version not the first... there was the problem...
Tnx anyway!
