Error 2140 Windows NT internal Error 1

I have installed BAOF on widnows nt version 4.0 sp6a and currently use Arcserveit 6.61 Advanced Edition to backup my servers.

However after I uninstalled arcserve and reinstalled it I can not get the BAOF service to start. I keep receiving the error 2140 Windows nt internal error.

Tech support keeps telling me to uninstall and reinstall. I need some other ideas. Anyone experience this problem before?

you'll need to manually clean the registry out after uninstalling before reinstalling....
sorry, but it's the only way to overcome the buggy installer....
