Error 2:502 - ASBCE 2

Have setup the ASBCE according to the documentation, Onex Mobile works fine inside the network. When outside the network, I am getting issues connecting with VoIP mode "Error 2:502" but interestingly I can see all my missed calls, contacts etc. Just no VoIP registration

I don't do OXP, hate it, but 502 means Bad Gateway usually, so I imagine you haven't done the split DNS stuff correctly ?

Internally the FQDN app.onex.company.com resolves to the One-X Server via an A Record - One-X registeres fine
Externally the FQDN app.onex.company.com resolves to the public Interface (B1) via an A Record - One-X registers but when not on VoIP Mode - VoIP Mode fails and I get the 2:502 error

Is this the wrong way of doing split DNS?

Hi

Your split DNS config seems OK.
Which version are you running (SBC & IPO) ?
Do you have trace of the registration ? On IPO with monitor, on SBC with tracesbc ?

When i run traceSBC with all 4 filters enabled I do not get any data

Having said that, if I run a full trace using the web GUI I can see all the 5222 and 8444 interactions

Figured it out. In the log file of the One-X mobile app it said it could not resolve ipo.company.com.
I created an A-Record for ipo.company.com and pointed it to the Public interface of the ASBCE and works!
