does anyone no why I get this error when installing virus scan 8.0i? it seems the service will not start.. any tips would be great!

Sometimes I can get it to work when the service won't start by going into the Services console and manually starting McAfee Framework Service, Network Associates McShield, and Network Associates Task Manager. Sometimes it will tell you why the service won't start if it doesn't work.
Try restarting the computer before you install if you haven't.
