Error 126

New machine, Windows XP Pro, IE 8, Progression Pervasive 7.6.4 spb, PSQL 8.5
After loading - get error message from Progression Workflow Explorer
[Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers]-2147467259:Specified driver could not be loaded due to system error 126 (Macola 32-Bit Btrieve (*.dta))

If I use the macola32.exe (Progression explorer) instead of pwe.exe (Workflow Explorer) I can get in.
Will everything update correctly if I use this executable.

macola32.exe is Progression Explorer - it's the older style menu, but programs called from this menu work exactly the same as programs called from Progression Workflow Explorer.

The error you are seeing is addressed in Exact Portal document #01.249.921.

We had to drop support/maintenance (economy cut backs) so I don't have access to 01.249.921

I found this...but what path is it talking about? Which I click on the PWE icon it is going to the root directory of Macola, then pwe.exe

No Company Files Found
Resolution:
1. Verify the No Company Files Found message is not actually preceded by the Progression Workflow Explorer error message: -2147467259: Specified driver could not be loaded due to system error 126 (Macola-32-BIT Btrieve (*.dta)). This error occurs if C:\pvsw\bin cannot be found in the path.
