Can anybody help with a replication problem i've got.
We have 6 servers running SQL Server 6.5 replicating a db round. A new server with a fresh install of 6.5 and sp5a is able to publish to the other servers, but when set up as a subscriber, throws the following distribution task error :
08001[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][dbnmpntw]ConnectionOpen(CreateFile())
Technet, etc seems to indicate it is a named pipes error, but they check out fine and we are using the same version of MDAC.
