The boot device could not be opened or read, or unable to define NFS swap device during network boot.
your boot list is corrupt or your boot device is no longer bootable.
check for silly stuff like floppy disks and CDs.
otherwise, boot to SMS (1 / F1) check the boot list / search for bootable drives.
you could try a service mode boot (5 / F5)
or boot NIM / CD Diags and check all the disks report in and certify the rootvg disks

Boot into Maintenance mode (from NIM, cd same level) select the rootvg option 2( start shell before mouning filesystems) the run fsck -y on /dev/hd1,hd,hds,hd4,hd9var. this should fix any fixable errors. next run this command "/usr/sbin/logform /dev/hd8" answer yes. Exit, and reboot.
