Equivalent of Oracle's SUBSTR in ACCESS 1

Hi Guys,

Do any of you know the equivalent commands to Oracles SUBSTR and INSTR in Access.

Not knowing Oracle, I'd still guess the Access equivalence of substr, is the mid function (check it out in the help files). You can also use the Right and Left functions.

There is a InStr function in Access too.
