I believe I just put an old friend down for the last time, for a permanently clogged head, An Epson c84. I love the print quality, durability and waterproofness of the prints and the surprising low cost of the printer, and speed. I, am however, very disappointed that it clogged permanently after a short while. Anyone using the newer Dura Brite models with better success, as I am willing to purchase a new printer? Right now, I just need a printer, that is in the $100-$200 range with archival inks (50yrs+)great photo printing specs, as I am on a limited budget.
Appreciate any input.

If you only want to print photos try the Epson Picturemate. My wife has been using one for several months now with great results. Cheap to run too. I use an Epson R800 which uses the Durabrite Inks and gives fantastic results - don't know about the archival qualities tho' - Epson say 80 years if kept behind glass.

Try eBay.com

Only deal with a seller who is given a good track record for being honest.

Good luck!
