I have an EPSON C200 that is reporting a WORN PHOTOCONDUCTOR even though I only replaced it a couple of weeks ago. The message does not always appear every day. Could there be a faulty sensor?
Try to remove it and replace it again. You may have not gotten it hooked up exactly right.
The only time you should see your error is when the photoconductor has really worn out, and the printer lets you know that. If it doesn't work, try a new one.
