Enabling Single-Signon within the database:

you need to enable single-signon within the database. the way to do this
is to add the local app messaging node as a trusted node. the local node
as delivered is probably "PSFT_EP" in your database, but to be sure, go
into app designer, file->open message node, and note the one with the "X"
in the "Local" column. then, go to peopletools->maintain
security->setup->single signon and add the local node. at this point, you
may need to down the app server, clear cache on the app server, and reboot.
it should work at this point.
