Hi All:

We have SQL Server 6.5 on an NT 4.0 machine. When we log into enterprise Manager, the whole EM screen is blank(Cannot see server, databases or any thing for that matter). Does any one have an idea why this is happening? Our client applications accessing SQL Server data are working fine.

Please advise.
thanx in advance.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling SQL on the server? I don't know if that will help, but if something went wrong during the installation, or a file was corrupted, that could do it.

Hope this helps! Rebecca Cashman

Disclaimer: I'm assuming you're new to SQL Server.

Have you registered the server in Enterprise Manager? If the EM screen shows Microsoft SQL Servers > SQL 6.5, and nothing below that, right-click on SQL 6.5 and select Register Server. Enter your authentication information, and you should be set.

If already registered, are you logging in as sa? If not perhaps the account does not have sufficient permissions, or permissions are not set correctly on the databases.
