Hi, I hope someone else has come across this as I haven't found anything here that matches my problem.

I am using Crystal reports 8.5 and enterprise 8 over netscape enterprise server 3.62.

I have a report which views and prints fine within crystal reports which has the following basic structure:
RHa cover letter
RHb summary sheet
PH column headers
GH1 suppressed
D main data
GF1 suppressed
RF suppressed
PF page count etc

When I view this report via eportfolio it inserts a blank page after each report header. This is not the only report which does this, the other one only has one report header. Both have data displayed in the report headers. I have other reports with data displayed in the report header which don't do this. I can't find a linking factor which may cause this.

I have tried playing about with format section/ new page before/after, but as it works anyway in crystal reports I didn't expect this to help, and so far it hasn't made a difference.

I would be very gratefful for any help as this is driving me round the bend! Thanks in anticipation

thanks for the reply,

I am using the default viewer - DHTML - confession time, I am winging it with this, I have installed and got it all running myself but I have no idea what I'm really doing. I have checked the manual and this site and crystals website but can't work out how to change the viewer. I have checked all the options in CMC but nothing jumps out.

One tip said use CMC/preferences - I am using enterprise 8 -there isn't a prefrences option on mine. Am I missing something really obvious here?

OK, viewer change resolved : ( for reference if anyone else wants it.

Tried every viewer ( other than plug-ins- not corporate standard) and I still have blank pages. Although using ActiveX formats and prints the report as required rather than having to export to PDF to print.

Any other ideas before the pc goes out the window ( I'm 4 floors up, it should be quite satisfying)
