G'day Everyone,
I have a standard VDN - VECTOR arrangement and want to setup some sort of ID for my remote clients, so that when they call in to the queue they will be prompted to enter their UNIQUE ID # in addition to this I need to keep a record of this call along with the recorded UNIQUE ID #.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to achieve this...

You could use a VRT. Allocate numbers to the clients that are VDNs and put these in the VRT.
If you use 6 digit extensions, a sample vector step would say:
collect 6 digits after announcement 123456
goto step 4 in digit in table 1
goto step 1 if unconditionally (repeats message)
route to digits

You would then add a unique VDN for each client, which enables you to run stats on numbers of calls etc.

Cheers

Hi langl3y,
Thanks for the info... sounds do-able, I'll give it a go.
