Enter text into another applications text box

I have an application that we run with a text box and a couple of buttons. We use this for controlling our servers but it doesn't have a list box where we could save a list of servers. What I want to do is be able to fill the text box from VB (or vbscript) and press a button on the form. I know how to launch the program from VB or check if it is running but how can I access these object?
