Hi,
You must have a graphic console or an ASCII terminal on S1 to start SMS menus. Try "F1" or "1" keys to access SMS programs, "F5" or "5" keys to access diags with predefined bootlist and "F6" or "6" key for configured bootlist.

possibly you can set the service processor to boot to SMS, inside power menu there should be a boot mode menu and from there enable "boot to SMS". or stand around and press 1 on the ASCII console before or after it beeps. IBM Certified -- AIX 4.3 Obfuscation
