I figured you might say that... we recently got some engenius cordless phoned. They are connected to an analog station port of an IPO running R6. Has anyone played with or installed these phones? I have tried dialing shortages when on a call, but am having no luck.
Engenius will work like a champ. You'll need to hookflash the line first (press the "ON" or "Talk" button with Engenius) - you'll get dialtone from IPOffice. Dial whatever shortcode is appropriate.

the thing i am trying to accomplish is putting a call on park. when i am on the engenius phone talking to the person do i simply press *01 while in the middle of the call. I can pull a call off of park with no problem. the problem i am having is when i am on the call i cant seem to do anything.
You need to put the call on hold first using the flashhook or (R) key if it has one, you are using an analogue line and so it has no in call functionality as a Dig or IP line would
On Engenius phones you generate a hookflash by pressing "On" or "Talk" (depending on which you phone has) while on the call. This will flash the control and return internal dialtone. You then dial an appropriate shortcode.
