Enabling TN via Mta phone ? ?

I have seen one of our switch contractor enable a digital port
on the switch using the keypads on a 2616 phone in the comm room. Does anybody know the proceedure to do this?

the procedure is in the front of the program manuals, you just use keys to logi and goto ld's.. with a term in the switch room it just don't get used much
