How do I enable/disable com ports on a Compaq Presario? On any other PC you do it in the BIOS/setup. I see no setting in Compaq's BIOS or anywhere else to do this.
I installed a new modem and it's on com2. According to Device Manager, only com1 is enabled. I put the modem in a differant pci slot but it's stil on com2. Any ideas?
