I am looking into some network traffic monitoring packages for our remote offices.
I need to enable netflow on my cisco routers for several packages to work.
As I am only looking into this I do not want to make any changes to the network.
The IOS I have does not support netflow so I need to add a new router with two ethernet interfaces, then enable netflow on this new router.
This router will be added between my main router and the service providers router which are both on the same subnet.
We have no access to the service providers router and they will not enable netflow on it.

Cisco Catalyst -------- New Cisco Router ---------Cisco 7200 ---------- Internet -------- Remote Offices
Netflow enabled ISP Owned

My problem is how can I get traffic flowing accros this new router to report the netflow statistics without config changes on the netwok?

Just enable netflow on the interfaces that are attached to the Catalyst and the 7200 . You do this by simply putting this command on each attached interface , "ip route-cache flow" . Then just add this command "ip flow-export ip-address" where the address is the netflow collector .
