Not from enabling the console. While Microsoft has vowed security hotfixes for MS VM until 12/2007 it is not clear how forthcoming they have been. Many security exports believe that still existing flaws in the VM make such spyware exploits as Cool Web Search infections possible.
But whether the console is enabled or not should not make a difference that I can see.
