Empty Deleted Items

Running Exchange 55 SP4 on W2K server SP3

In outlook XP, you cannot empty the deleted items, outlook just seems to hang.

Any ideas? please

I'm pretty sure I've seen this here before, but can't seem to put my hands on it right now. Use the keyword search function of this forum and forum68 using different keywords and 'any date'.

Do you have the Preview Pane turned off when trying to delete the messages? joegz
