Employee Photo upload in 3-tier

Anybody out there in PS-land who knows how to upload Employee Photos in a 3-tier connection from the browser?

PSFT 8.1x
Oracle
Internet Explorer AND Netscape

Using the windows client in 2-tier works fine, but 3 tier is giving me a headache.

I guess there is a patch to add a file add button on that page.
