.eml extensions

I have been receiving attachments with the extension .eml, but have been unable to open them. What program do these need to be assosiated with?<br><br>Thanks

as far as I know that extension is from outlook express. You will need outlook express to open them or you could try and open them in notepad.

Thanks Ladin, I am however using 'Outlook Express'. I am also having a problem trying to collect my mail with it, every time I hit Send/Receive I am disconnected from the Internet. Outlook Express is not set to disconnect automatically after checking for mail so there is a possibility of some corruption or something. Maybe I might be better just reinstalling it. Thanks

Problem solved, I exported my Address book & Messages,copied Outlook Express over from another PC on my network, Imported the above files and everything is fine again. Thanks for your help.
