EMG80 remote handset wont connect 2

Hi All

Can anyone give me any pointers to getting an LIP 8012e to work remotely on an EMG80. I have so far got the phone top work locally fine but i cant seem to get it to connect remotely.

i have forwarded the following ports in my router

80
1720
2048 - 3071
5588
6254
7000-9000

My global ip is 84.224.248.n
My local router is 192.168.0.1
My emg80 is on 192.168.0.20

No matter what combination i have tried on the phone from the other location it will not connect, what am i missing or doing wrong?

do you have set your global IP as firewall IP in the eMG80?

Firewall ip address does need to be progammed in the system (Where you program the IP range etc). Phone needs to be remote, not on same lan as MFIM, DHCP so it picks up your remote routers IP address.

I belive the only ports required are 5588, 7000-7315, plus which ever port you use to log on remotely for web access.
