Hello,

How do I get a 2006
to ring when the handset has been pick up or knocked off
of its receiver.
up to go directly to an emergency operation
center...DN are all on site.
with out pressing any of the keys.

Key 0 HOT D 4 xxxx

Where xxxx = the number of you emergency center. The 4 is the number of digits in the DN you are calling, so if you are on 5-digit dialing, it would change to 5.

But check this out
the want 4 of these differnt locations
to show a different name (name display)...like bldg 1
bld.3 extra.....

I will have to go re-check these phone
I do have them set up as hot keys...
but I still think you have to press the key to
get dial tone.

Can you change them out to be 500 sets? That way, you can assign a DN, name it, the use the FTR HOT D 4 xxxx.

We use these now and they ring as soon as you go off-hook, and it shows the location name like they are looking for. You can then call them back if needed.

I think i am being asking the impossible
we have four phones going to our emergency center
would it be possible at all
to give each 2000 sets a different name
disply when hitting our emergency center....

not at all impossible. build the hots a little dif.

hot d 4 2000 3000, that gives each hotline an ext, just built 20 call boxes this way and if memory is correct that is the key entry, that can be used as a two way hot and i hot d that you can then name and call

EACH PHONE NEEDS ITS OWN NAME DISPLAY.
SO THE EMERGENCY TEAM CAN IDENTIFY WHICH ROOM THE CALL IS COMING FROM.

OK, so now change your key 0 to look like John's suggestion above:

KEY 0 HOT D 4 xxxx 2200

Make each phone a different xxxx, and use the name of that DN to set up your different description/location info.

that's a one way ring down and you can't name it,

key 00 hot d 0 2200 2101

then just do the normal ld 95 new name on 2101.. this allows you to build two way hot d's or even dial a hot d.. those work for areas where the att may page, pick up a red phone, it rings down to the att, and gives her the option of transfering to the dn

I built the hot d like this

key 00 hot d 4 2200 2307(extenion)

It works this way well but I am not able to
duplicate the one I showed you

key 00 hot d 0 2200 extension...im not able to add the 0
should i be concerned

the 0, should be for the number of digits, (i thought) i usually program a single direction hot as hot d 4 xxxx
