Is anyone using the emergency location extension field in CM2 or later with phones with bridged extensions? We will probably upgrade from G3r R1.3 by 2nd quarter 2006 and are about to implemnt E911 using Red Sky. We have bridged appearances on many sets and want to know in the later releases if a 911 call is placed from a bridged extension what number is sent - is it the bridged extension or the extension that is entered in the emergency location extension field? This would be DCP phones NOT IP.
If you have any information on how this works I would appreciate it. We need to know how this works in order to determine if bridged appearances or other features need to be removed.
