If I have 2 fiber cards in my AIX server.

And one of the fiber cards goes out. I get it replaced by IBM technician. Will I be able to access my EMC disks?

I was under the impression that EMC talks to my fiber cards world wide name (WWN). Would I need to to talk to my SAN admin for this?

Yes, he has to remove the old anzone the new

it depends on the type of zoning wich was made on your san.

If the switch zoning was made with the wwpn, it has to be changed. Else if the switch zoning was made using the switchs ports numbers, nothing has to be change

Thanks for the quick and good replies!
