Can anyone please help me discover the code to include a font with a postscript file.

I am using java to create a .ps file that uses Times-Bold and a Code39 barcode font. Neither of these fonts is being found with distiller, so I would like to embed them w/in the .ps file.

Any ideas. Thanks

You already have the PFAs? Just copy them, in their entirety, at the very top of your PostScript file, before even the %!PS comment. That's all there is to it!

Thank you very much. I don't have the .pfa's but i will find them. : )

You can create them from the PFBs. There is a pfb2pfa.ps program, for example, that comes with GhostScript. Or you can read up on the encoding and do it yourself fairly easily with any language.

I have found the font, but it is code39.ttf. Do you have any ideas for this?
