hey guys,

just wondering if im doing something wrong? i have embedded voicemail with a AA that has a greeting such as.....if you know your parties extn dial it now......i have option 1 set as "normal transfer" but when i try to dial a number....nothing happens. do i need to do anything different?

ip office 406v2 5.0

i thought i read that with "normal transfer" if a destination is not set, you should be able to dial an extn number?

It does, but it doesn't seem to work in your case. If neither work you have not upgraded the embedded card :-)

You need to go to "Dial by number" depending on what the extn number range starts with, if its 100's then dial by number in option 1 if 200's then in dial by number option 2 and so on.

hope that helps
:)

tried that and still get the same dead air???? if i press 1 then dial the extn it works

weird!!!!?????

like a dork...... probably not!!!

as i have not done but one upgrade.....if i can remember right...the upgrade files are in the embedded file management folder????
