Well not so much two languages as US English and UK English.

The initial mailbox login is US English and the help and mailbox prompts are UK English.

The card came this way and i went through the tftp prompts upgrade yesterday and it has sit most of today since the reboot and the prompts are still coming in for the UK.

system locale is set to ENU and even when i specify ENU per user it doesn't help.

It's not a huge deal, but it is a different voice then the regular US "audry audix"

any ideas?

oh this is a brand new 406v2 3.1.65

btw monitor shows that the files are being pulled from the ENU folder...

The sub prompts appear to go back to the "audry audix" voice but the main menu is a british sounding voice.

I've not had this happen on any other embedded vm install's i've done.

Perhaps you should try to copy fresh files to the card.

Yeah I did miss that but it seems to me that they are still the wrong prompts. If you have a card reader you could pop it into your lap top and play em. If you can pop it into your laptop and read it then you can easily copy and paste things around.

This may sound stupid but did you play your source files before you copyied them? MC_02 etc?

the source files from the LVMSOUND folder are .c11 files that i can't get to play on my pc. I've used the same files for multiple embedded vm's before but either never noticed the voice change or it simply didn't happen.

i'm a bit leary of the card reader now anyway. I use to use it all the time for these but this system i'm working on now is on it's 2nd embedded card (per my earlier thread) b/c the first one got screwed up first by the system then further by me....

If you recopied the files onto the card and the greetings have not changed to the correct ones, I would have to say your source files maybe incorrect. You cant open the .cll/.c23 files because I beleive they are compressed audio files due to memory space limitations of the embedded vm flash card. You would need special audio codecs to play them through media player etc. Try downloading the admin CD again or perhaps you are uploading them via tftp from the wrong directory.

We have 2 systems with same issue. It's not a surprise. On those systems as well we have users getting dead air after they enter their password. It usually takes a reboot to clear it after it gets worse. Tier 4 has had it for over a month and a half with no feedback except they are reviewing it.

Oh - Yes they were loaded correctly via documentation (not that the documentation would be correct, but the same as any previous we have out in the field) and the system and embedded card has been completely replaced.
3.2.55 was the initial loads.

i never had any issues with it hanging after login, and the voice isn't that dis-similar that it makes a big deal so I just left it as is.
