Embedded VM - AA greeting issue 1

Hi,

When I record a AA greeting with *8101 shorcode, It can't be heard from outside callers, menu selection works.

Emb. VM prompts upgraded.

IP500 R4.2(4).

Do you have a time profile ?
You must use a time profile
This have cost me a couple of hours in the past :)

I did hear nothing but could choose and worked

No, I don't have time profiles.

In documentation it doesn't say that time profile is a must, otherwise callers won't hear anything...

I'll try that tommorow :)
 
if you do not have a time profile the the menu options prompt will be played (*8104). the best thing to do is just record that prompt. ot make a time profile for 24 hours a day and assign that to the first prompt.
