I use the date formate 2003-07-09 (yyyy-mm-dd) on my forms and on
my reports in Access 2K. It works great. But I also have a command
button to send my form via email to Outlook, but when the text appear in
Outlook it converts back to the short date of 07/09/03, but I need it show
as 2003-07-09.
I have gone into Regional Option via control panels and change the
formate date there, and it works fine, but that changes dates every
where in Microsoft.
Is it possible to write a function or something to make the date show as text in access and maybe when it goes to outlook as a email it will remain in my format.
BTW, the date I am referring to is tied in to an ID number that uses Dmax as a counter.
Any advice is always appreciated.
