I need to figure out how to email some1 in code written in VC++6, that doesnt require a mail server defined(Since it'll be running on a IIS enabled NT Server). Some1 told me it could only be done on Active Server Page, but i've also heard some1 tell me there was a COM object for it.
Karl
kb244@bellsouth.net
<a href=
What i got going, is i made an ASP(ActiveServerPage) that accepts parameters, such as TO From, Etc Etc, being sure to encode all the text before passing to avoid conflicts, then the ASP then emails it for me using CDONTS, i used OpenURL and manually typed in the parameter for the ASP, encoding each sectino as well.
best i can do right now.
Karl
kb244@bellsouth.net
<a href=
Experienced in , or have messed with : VC++, Borland C++ Builder, VB-Dos, VB1 thru VB6, Delphi 3 pro, Borland C++ 3(DOS), Borland C++ 4.5, HTML, ASP(somewhat), QBasic(hehe, yea it was 4.5 too, least i didnt start with COBOL)
