I have a few issues going on that I think are all related.
I am running Exchange 2003 on a seperate domain. I have 4 laptop users that are set up with pop accounts. They are all running Outlook 2003. While connected to the local network, they can send and receive emails just fine. When they are connected to the internet offsite, they cannot send or receive emails over the pop account at all.
I am running outlook 2k pro on my laptop and am able to received and send over my pop account anytime with no problems on or off site.
Another issue I just found while testing some ideas, was when I set up a pop account on an external outlook 2003 machine, my username had to be set as anyone@domain.com but I have mine set up on my 2k pro machine as just anyone as the username.
I'm not sure if this is enough info, but just ask me questions and I can hopefully fill in the holes so a resolution can be found.
