email report in run-time

Hi all,

I have some reports puiblished in my intranet using the ActiveX Viewer. When a user wants to email a pdf report, he exports the result and attach it to a email message.

What I need is an automatic process of it, that's it: export a pdf automatically and email it. To email it I can use the CDonts component in an ASP page. So my problem is how to export directly the report without the intervention of the user.

If somebody has an idea how to do it or a better way to achieve my goal, please help me

In other words, I need to export directly a pdf to an e-mail message...

Crystal has some rather more expensive products (Seagate Info & Crystal Enterprise) that do this. There are other products on the market that also automatically schedule & deliver reports.
