We are having problems relaying external email to users home accounts. A NDR is generated:
<(..our mail server..) #5.5.0 smtp;550 relaying blocked, read new mail, add (..our ip address..) to forwarding or enable smtp authentication in y>
Direct mail to the same accounts work fine.
We have a single smtp connector using a smarthost for all mail. Do I have to add new connectors with smtp authentication enabled for all of these accounts affected?!
What does it mean by "add (..our ip address..) to forwarding"?
I have checked our reverse DNS entry - this was wrong but is ok now (and has been for some weeks).
Thanks for any help you can give.
