I'm trying to find a better way to recover email stores in Exch2k and search individual mailboxes for specific terms. Does anyone know of a particular way to search a recovered db without having to manually login to each user's account & mailbox? Anyone out there have a really great solution he/she would like to share?

(BTW.. we have a searchable worm storage solution in place for all email since March, but it's the older email that's making life tough.)

Right now our proces reinvents the wheel with each restore and I'd like to find a way around this. Help from folks in the Financial Services industry would be especially welcome.

In System Manager, under tools, there is the message tracking center. It will let you search for sender, recipient, server, and date range. Don't know if that will help you out or not.

for one. Excellent search and recovery. The database does not need to be mounted. It can run from a laptop if necessary.
