Brews,
Does the form recipient who completes the information have a purchased copy of Acrobat (Standard, Pro, or Pro Extended/3D) to work with? Or, are they going to be using the free Adobe Reader?
If they have a purchase copy of Acrobat:
No problem - we just need to change the data type associated with the email submit button.
If they have the free Adobe Reader:
Sending back the completed form with the data requires saving, which reader is restricted from doing. To extend the save functionality to the free Reader, the form must have extended usage rights. These can be turned on by Acrobat 7,8, or 9 Professional with certain EULA limits.
To summarize the EULA: You can send the form to an unlimited number of users as long as you collect data from no more than 500 forms.
Or, you may send the document to 500 people, and extract the data as many times as necessary from those 500 people.
If your need more than 500, Reader Extensions can be purchased from Adobe.
Hope this helps.
