Hello,

I have a couple of associates that are receiving email that claims to be from me.
They can get this email even when my pc is not running.
Is there any way to find out where this email is coming from?

Thanks

Raney

The E-mails may come from virus infected computers where your name is found in an address list and then used as (false) sender's name.

Tell the recipient to look at the headers of the email, determine the originating IP address, lookup the whois information for that address and then send an abuse email to thier ISP.

If nothing else the ISP will at least be able to inform that user that they may have a virus infected system.

Chris.
