Email form converting to ASP

I have a form that I have people filling out, that I have changed to post to an ASP instead of email. I still need to recieve the email I used to get, but I also need to continue to post to the ASP as well in order to facilitate the file download that I put into the asp (thanks to usrbinperl for the help) I would prefer to continue using my Frontpage Server Extensions to send the mail, but can change. Just don't want to spend any more money on my server. So how do I keep the form results emailing as well as posting to the ASP to facilitate the download.

create two independant sub routines
1. to send the email as normal
2. to do the insert into the db

then change the code flow slightly to call both functions
