Hi there,

I wondering if it was possible to add a footer to all outgoing emails in Exhange 2003. I know there are thrid party bits of software that can do this but I was wondering if you could do it within Exchange itself?

Thanks very much,

Glenn

Hi Richard,

since posting this question, I also found that site but it doesn't work for me as I am using Outlook to send mail:

Note If you use a MAPI client, such as Microsoft Outlook, to send the e-mail message, the recipient does not receive a modified e-mail message. This is because the e-mail message that is submitted by using MAPI is not in an SMTP format when the e-mail message triggers the SMTP transport event. Therefore, changes that are made by the code of the event are not persisted.

Do you know if it possible to add footers in Exchage 2007?

Thanks,

Glenn

The store event in 2003 doesn't work as well as it could. Third party products like exclaimer and GFI's Mail Essentials are better.
