Email bouncing back

Can anyone help?

I work for a charter school and my email is down. My emails sent from the internal network works. when i try from an outside email, such as hotmail.com, i get an error like this"

"This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.Delivery to the following recipients failed."

I run sonicfirewall, not sure if that's part of the error. anyhelp would be much appreciated.

Opps, it not really bouncing back. it just get's hung up in the hotmail account. the hotmail account will get the error return message. nothing ends up at my school account. could it be my ISP and routing issues?
