ELITE IPK....DND TROUBLES..

I have an Elite IPK with a VMS voice-mail.All phones have a DND button,but when DND is activated it does not go to voice-mail immediatley.(waits for cf/na time to elaspe).
What am i missing? Thanks for your help..
 
DND (Do not Disturb) actually is just that - Do not Disturb me. Call Forward All is actually what you want.

Press <feature> <your DND button> and see what it displays on your LCD, chances are it shows <feature><60> only. Strictly speaking, for your desired action (call forward all) it is the same key sequence as DND, but with the addition of your voice mail pilot number.

So try <feature><6><0><your VMS pilot station><feature> and then ring that extension. I bet it goes directly to Voice mail.

If the above works, then you would need to reprogram all of your DND buttons to change into call forward all <to voicemail>

Actually all DND buttons are programmed through line key assignment.I will give it a try.Thanks for help new2nec.
 
The DND disable all audible sounds only. If you want it to go to Vmail when DND is on, setup your ports in 4-42 to "no" (CF Busy/immediate delay) and make sure that your set is call forward busy/no answer to your vmail extension.
