Edit Word 2002

I have to automate the editing of a Word 2002 document. This link

gives the instructions for Word 2003. It states to have a doc saved as XML then use the XML as a template and make your changes and save as doc. Word 2002 does not give the option of saving as XML so I saved as html and it works but I lose some headers and formatting.
Can't figure out how to beat it.

Marty - hope things are going well for you these days - thanks for the link, I am going to take a look at this (sounds like a good approach to interfacing Word with web forms. If I have any luck I'll post back.
