there is only edit tab active on the top bar

edit (i/d/v/c/u) how to quit from here , i am connected to site remotely and i am closing anf opening ASA to geain control

Please advice

Sounds like you are in terminal emulation mode. Just press F1 to exit the edit (i/d/v/c/u) state, then press F3 to save your changes.

I am connected using ASA, Start Emulation

i can do everything except this vector page, i removed everything from vector hit edit
then edit (i/d/v/c/u) state came
i preassed f1 nothing happened F3 nothing happened

:( :(

In emulation mode, you should be able to execute the command:

change vector xxxx

then go to each line of the vector and press F4 to clear the line, then just press F3 to save your changes. No need to use F6.

Are you using terminal 4410 emulation when you log in?

The ASA was installed by some other engineer, i can connect even with out password as its is set already.

Do i need to do some thing regarding 4410 emulation?

Before logging in, go to System then Properties

On the System tab, check the Default Emulator Setting, 513 or 4410 should work.

If you still can't get it to work, try starting in GEDI mode.

Select General, then Start GEDI.

Go to the first field of every line and press your delete key on your keyboard, then the enter key to move to the next line. Continue this until all lines are blank. You'll have to page down to each page to clear every line.

Then press F3 to save your changes.

edit (i/d/v/c/u) state came

To use the above

i= insert line. The command line should be "i space ?" the line to insert.
d= delete line The command line should be "d space ?" the line to delete.
v=variable A-ZZ The command line should be "v space ?" the variable you want here
c= comment
u= uncomment

The cool thing about this is the delete line /insert line is that it moves the vector steps that are pointing to that line to the right steps even though a line was deleted or inserted.

A lot less work...

One last thing that I just now noticed. Your call center center options are not really CM features. Under "disp sys cust" you will find " CALL CENTER OPTIONAL FEATURES". This is a pay to use option and is where your ACD/VDN/Vectoring/BCMS/BSR/EAS gets turned on.

Going to that page will show you what you have turned on and what you can use.
