Edit menu items greyed out in QT PRO

If I load a QTVR movie (saved from the web) in QT Pro, all of the items in the edit menu are greyed out.

I've googled on the topic but can't find anything that would allow someone to disable editing but which would still allow me to save the movie using the plugin.

Can anyone help me here?

All I want to do is export the faces of the Cubic VR.
