I have a client that just upgraded to eDir 8.7.3 on all of their netware 5.1 sp7 servers. They have 2000+ macs that access the servers via appletalk (ethernet Snap).
Ever since the upgrade, they have intermittent problems attaching to the servers from their macs. The mac versions are 8.x and 9.x, it doesn't seem to make a difference. The problems they have are this.. They can connect, then they can't for like, 15 minutes.. then they can, then they can't again. It doesn't make sense. NDS is healthy and servers are in really good shape with tons of resources..
I've tried to setup an nmas trace to capture what goes on during the connection attempt, but can't seem to produce any results (I've used it before to troubleshoot logins on edir and cifs).
Any thoughts are appreciated.
