echo

how do i do this.
first, user enter some information and click enter.
when the user click enter, a new page display all the information that the user have entered. on this page, have a confirm button. when the user click on confirm, then only the information is submitted into the database.
how can i echo the information but not into the database?
pls provide some working coding, so i know how it looks like.
